Wolves striker Jake Cassidy has linked up with Rovers boss Ronnie Moore ahead of sealing his third loan spell at Prenton Park later this week.

The 20-year-old striker will be hoping for a similar return on his two previous spells on the Wirral.

Scoring five goals in seven starts and a total of 10 appearances from January 2012 to May 2012, he then bagged 11 in 26 league games from August 2012 to January 2013.

That goalscoring form is in stark contrast to his record for Wolves, where he has failed to find the net in 25 appearances, 11 of which have been starts.

Jackett watched 21-year-old Hogan in Rochdale's 3-0 win against Plymouth on Saturday.

Hogan appeared as a 66th minute substitute for George Donnelly after boss Keith Hill benched him because he thought his head had been turned by the speculation surrounding him.

The player recently turned down a move to Peterborough after failing to agree personal terms when the clubs had agreed a fee rising to £1m with add-ons.

Hogan is understood to be seeking £5,000-a-week, which is above Posh's budget but well within Wolves' means.
