The Saddlers manager is fresh from a superb

campaign at the Banks's Stadium where he shaped a major change of fortunes for Walsall which saw the club come up just short in a push for the play-offs.

But he is fully aware that the arrival of his Molineux neighbours in the third tier has now thrown a new ingredient into the pot.

"It's going to be tough for them – it really is," says Smith. "They will see every team – every team – really wanting to beat them. They will be the biggest target, the biggest team in the

division and we will all want to go to Molineux and show them what we can do.

"That's just how it is. I think about it now, as

Walsall manager, and I can't wait for a game like that.

"My players will be the same I'm sure.

"There will be big

attendances wherever Wolves go because of their fan base and that makes for a big atmosphere which every club will relish and will lift opposition players. There will be expectation for Wolves to deal with."
