Steve Morgan plans to make a rousing speech to Wolves' players before their Survival Sunday showdown with Blackburn Rovers.

The Wolves owner and chairman made an impassioned dressing room address to the players before the Birmingham and Albion games.

And Morgan plans to do something similar as Mick McCarthy's side face their winner-takes-all clash.

Morgan said: "You might see me do it on Sunday. The lads do not need me to tell them how important it is, but it's important for them to know we're all together and myself and the other directors are kicking every ball with them.

"It will just be to say 'we are all with you and we know how important it is.'

"I just wish I was young enough and good enough to do what they're doing."

Morgan also dropped another huge hint that McCarthy's future is safe whatever happens on Sunday.

The chairman said: "Mick has been here for five years and I don't believe you get any progress at all by chopping and changing.

"That's happened in other clubs and what good has it done? There are times when things don't go right, but you've got to stand together and make sure you get it right next time.

"I think that's what we've done. Mick has made progress every year since I've been here.

"If you go to the dressing room before a game and see the rapport between Mick and the players you will see there's a proper team spirit between the management and the players."

Morgan also re-iterated the manager's view that last year's £18million spend would not be repeated if Wolves stay up.

He said: "Mick will have money to spend next year. But I don't think we're in a position where we need to spend that much again."

Morgan hopes to have as many as 3,000 uncovered seats in the new North Stand by September.

He said: "We're hoping to get the bottom tier done by the middle of September.

"That was a big part of the tendering agreement. There will only be a maximum of two home games with no fans behind the goal before the lower tier will be ready.

"But the roof probably won't be on until January."
