Diafra Sakho's West Brom move collapses
Diafra Sakho's proposed £16m move from West Ham to Albion has collapsed at the 11th hour.
The 26-year-old striker had been set to sign for the Baggies in what would have been have been a club record transfer.
But Albion have decided not to go ahead with the deal at the last moment, despite the player agreeing personal terms.
Sakho had last night been in the Midlands to complete his medical, with the club awaiting the results of the final scans this morning.
The Senegal international, had scored 19 goals in two seasons at Upton Park. His arrival at the Hawthorns had been expected to herald the exit of Saido Berahino.
The 23-year-old is being chased by both Crystal Palace and Stoke City but his departure now looks like being delayed, as the Baggies turn their attentions to other forward targets.
