West Brom want Norwich's Robbie Brady

West Brom are interested in tempting Norwich winger Robbie Brady back to the Premier League - as they resign themselves to missing out on team-mate Nathan Redmond.

Even though Southampton have just lost manager Ronald Koeman to Everton, the Saints are believed to be closing in on an £8m deal for Redmond.

The 22-year-old Englishman was one of Albion's top targets this summer, but now the club have shifted their attention to Irish international Brady.

However, the Baggies aren't the only club offering the 24-year-old a route back into the top tier, with both Leicester and Sunderland also courting the Canaries.

The Norfolk club are reportedly holding out for £12m, but Brady's future won't be decided until he returns home from Euro 2016.

Brady has emerged as a target after his versatility on the left-hand side impressed the coaching staff last season.

Responding to questions over his future, he said: I've had a full season in the Premier League so there's a fair idea of me there (already)."

The Baggies have also been linked with a move for Leicester striker Leonardo Ulloa.

And they reportedly sent scouts to monitor Enner Valencia's performance in Ecuador's 2-1 defeat to the USA in the Copa America quarter-final.

Elsewhere, former loanee Sandro failed a medical at Sporting Lisbon a month after playing for the Baggies.
