Both Saido Berahino and Tony Pulis left the Albion training ground early today, but the club insists it has nothing to do with an imminent departure for the striker.

Berahino completed his warm-up but didn't take in part in full training because he picked up a dead leg during the Peterborough game on Saturday, claim Albion.

Pulis did not take that training session and won't be at today's pre-match press conference for tomorrow's Swansea game either.

The club say he's away on a mixture of personal business and transfer related business.

The Baggies have already received two bids from Newcastle for Berahino, the second one totalling £24m, but chairman Jeremy peace does not want to sell last season's top scorer to the Magpies because his goals could drag Albion into the relegation mix.

Spurs are also interested in the striker, but haven't lodged any bids for him yet this January.

However, Albion have signed Spurs midfielder Alex Pritchard on loan for the rest of the season, suggesting the frosty relationship between the two clubs has thawed since the summer.

Pritchard was registered before 12pm, and so will be available for tomorrow's Premier League game against Swansea.
