West Brom's Boaz Myhill set to retire from Wales
Albion goalkeeper Boaz Myhill is retiring from international football, according to reports from Wales.
Myhill, who questioned his future in Chris Coleman's side earlier this season, was not included in the squad for next month's friendly against Netherlands, which was announced this afternoon after apparently deciding to call time on his international career.
The Baggies' gloveman admitted he was considering his international career when Wayne Hennessey, then at Wolves, returned from an 18-month injury lay-off and was recalled immediately to Coleman's starting line-up at Myhill's expense.
Myhill had been performing well for Albion in the Premier League in the absence of the injured Ben Foster while Hennessey had only just made his first-team comeback in the Championship on loan at Yeovil.
Myhill, who was born in California, won the first of 20 Wales caps in March, 2008 having been eligible through his Llangollen-born mother.
