West Brom announce pre-season friendlies

West Brom will visit Shrewsbury, Cheltenham, Nottingham Forest and Port Vale as part of their preparations for next season.

The Baggies have confirmed most of their domestic pre-season schedule ahead of the 2014-15 Premier League campaign.

They will kick-off with a behind-closed-doors friendly against League Two side Bury at Albion's Great Barr training base, on Saturday, July 12 (noon).

The squad will split in two for away games against Cheltenham and Shrewsbury, both of League Two, on Tuesday, July 15 (both 7.45pm).

They will then play two games on an overseas training camp, details of which are still to be confirmed.

And they will face Forest, at the City Ground, on Saturday, August 2 (kick-off to be confirmed) before taking on League One side Port Vale at Vale Park on Tuesday, August 5 (7.45pm).

They will play a final friendly on Saturday, August 16, details of which are yet to be confirmed.
