Walsall eye Jordy Hiwula return

Walsall are keeping tabs on Jordy Hiwula with boss Jon Whitney keen to bring the striker back to the Banks's Stadium.

Hiwula scored three goals while on loan from Huddersfield Town at the end of the season and faces an uncertain future, with Terriers boss David Wagner last month revealing he would be prepared to listen to offers for the 21-year-old.

Whitney is now watching developments with interest, after admitting Hiwula is among a number of potential summer targets.

"I would really like to do something with (Jordy), I don't mind putting it out there," he said.

"But he is Huddersfield's player. They want to have a look at him in pre-season. Again he is one who might be looking to play in the Championship. We will see what happens."
