The Saddlers head to Oakwell today to take on Paul Heckingbottom's side in the first-leg of the semi-final.

Both sides will then go into battle again on Thursday to contest the second leg – with the winner facing either Millwall or Bradford in a showpiece final at Wembley. After finishing third in League One, Walsall missed out on an automatic spot in the Championship by a single point.

But Bradshaw believes Jon Whitney's side will go on and win promotion.

"We are full of confidence going into the play-offs," the Welsh forward said. "I think we will come out of it with promotion. We have won five of our last seven games which is great form and the team with the best form going into the play-offs often comes out the winners.

"Barnsley are a very good side going forward and a good side in general. But they are a footballing side and we back ourselves against any footballing side."

Bradshaw insists Walsall don't fear any of the other play-off contenders.

"We know we can beat anyone on our day and we will take that belief into the Barnsley game," he said.

"All four teams are good sides.

"We struggled against Bradford a few weeks back but that happens in football.

"Occasionally you get a bad day at the office and that was a bad day at the office for us.

"But we bounced back very well – winning three on the bounce.

"Despite missing out on automatic promotion, our belief hasn't been dented.

"We still believe we are going to go up. We know if we perform how we know we can then we will make the final."

Walsall head to Oakwell having secured the best away record in League One this season.

But Bradshaw believes the team is equally comfortable performing on the road and at the Banks's

"We had secured the best away record even before the Port Vale game but then we managed to go there and win 5-0," he added.

"That give us confidence going into the away tie. But we have also improved our home form the last few months," he added. "We struggled at home slightly at one stage but we have picked up and that makes both legs very exciting."
