Walsall fans are out in force in and around Port Vale today as their automatic promotion fate in League One will be decided today.

The race for the second and final automatic promotion place was left on a knife-edge, after the Saddlers beat Fleetwood 3-1 at home last Monday.

They need three points, for Burton to lose at Doncaster and to make up a three goal difference on the Brewers, who hold the berth going into play.

They could even sneak in on goals scored, with nine more on their rivals. Should they fail to win, they will finish in third place and enter the play-offs.
