Tom Bradshaw will give it everything to impress
Tom Bradshaw is determined to force his way into Chris Coleman's Wales plans – starting with a performance against Holland tonight.
The Walsall forward, who has nine goals to his name this season, is hoping to make his international debut when Wales host the Netherlands at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Bradshaw has seen his chances of starting tonight's game boosted after fellow forward Sam Vokes withdrew through injury.
And with Gareth Bale and Hal Robson-Kanu also missing, the Saddler has just Leicester's Tom Lawrence, MK Dons' Simon Church and Fulham's George Williams left as competition.
"You have always got to do your best to impress in football and I will be giving it everything I can," Bradshaw said. "You never know what is around the corner and from the first training session I've been doing my best.
"Whether I get a couple of minutes, or I start, I will be doing everything in my power to impress and show what I can do."
Coleman's side take on the Dutch as they look to finalise their preparations for Euro 2016.
The competition is the first time Wales have qualified for a major tournament since 1958. And Bradshaw admits he'd love to be on the plane to France.
"I think every Welshman who has got half a chance of being on that plane will be doing everything they can to get that ticket," he said.
"I'm no different.
"I will be doing everything I can with Walsall and with Wales to show that I deserve a seat and I will be trying to impress as many people as I can."
Despite the Netherlands failing to qualify for Euro 2016, Bradshaw still regards tonight's opponents as one of the top international sides.
Meanwhile, Walsall have confirmed their League One fixture at Shrewsbury has been re-arranged for Tuesday, December 1.
