The 25-year-old has been forced to make do with a watching brief so far this season, but has scored four goals in his last two games for the reserves.

The frontman also came off the substitutes' bench to set up Tom Bradshaw in the 2-0 win over Doncaster and boss Dean Smith has nothing but praise for the former Charlton forward.

Smith said: "Jordan has done very well in the reserves and he has done very well when introduced as a sub.

"He is a player we know is very talented but Bradshaw has been on fire and so has Romaine Sawyers so he has found his chances limited.

"But his attitude has been terrific, his application is great and he is scoring goals in the reserves which gives me problem.

"That also gives him ammunition when he comes in and sees me demanding to play. He is a big part of what we are doing here."
