Walsall's Tom Bradshaw on standby for Wales
Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw has described being placed on standby for the senior Wales squad as "quite surreal."
Just as he was during the last round of Euro 2016 qualifiers, the 22-year-old has again been included on the standby list by Chris Coleman, ahead of the game with Belgium later this month.
Bradshaw, who has represented Wales at both under-19 and under-21 level, has made no secret of his desire to one day play for his country at senior level but admits seeing his name near to the likes of Aaron Ramsey and Gareth Bale takes some getting used to.
"To be on standby is a real feather in my cap," he said. "I know they have a few players back in, Ramsey is back now and there are some other big names to come back.
"It's quite surreal to look at that list of players and see your name on the same page.
"I just can't wait until I'm picked in the main squad and make my full debut."
Bradshaw's recognition is testament to the excellent start he has enjoyed to life with the Saddlers since his summer switch from Shrewsbury.
In 13 appearances so far he has netted seven goals and is the club's top scorer. And if he wants to realise his international dream, Bradshaw knows he has to keep it going.
"It has always been my belief that if I play I will score goals," he added.
"If you score goals, you start to get noticed. All I need to do is keep playing well for Walsall and I'm sure I will get the rewards."
Walsall fans have their chance to get their hands on the Johnstone's Paint Trophy ahead of next Wednesday's Area quarter-final with Sheffield United.
The trophy will be on display throughout the day ahead of kick-off at the Johnstone's Decorating Centre in Queen Street between 9am and 4.30pm.
