Walsall manager Dean Smith hopes to clinch two more loan deals next week to complete his summer re-building programme.
The boss says he has room in his budget for a couple more signings before he closes the book on a second successive close season of major transformation.
Smith said: "I have been in contact with a couple of clubs about players this week and will be speaking to them again next week.
"I have the room to get another couple in and will be trying to do that."
Those deals would be in addition to Smith's hopes of reuniting the Chambers twins, who started their careers together at West Bromwich Albion, under the Saddlers banner.
Adam earned a permanent deal last season but James is still playing on a match-by-match basis.
"I'm still in negotiations with James and we will talk again next week," added Smith.
