Tividale ended their spell in the Evo-Stik First Division South with a 2-0 home defeat to Sheffield FC.
Before the game there was a minute's applause in memory of ex-committee member Ian Peters.
Sheffield were sharper from the off and were unlucky not to be ahead, when Tividale goalkeeper Tom Turner denied both Brian Cusworth and Alec Denton with a brilliant double save.
Sheffield took the lead on 32 minutes when the dangerous Cusworth made the most of a deflected cross that left Turner stranded and he headed home.
Tividale had their best chance of the game on 48 minutes when Alex Fletcher played in Shaquille Whittingham but his effort hit the post.
The rebound fell to Shane Grainger, but his shot was cleared off the line by Sheffield defender Lee Cooksey.
Five minutes later and the visitors doubled their lead. Denton burst into the box and made no mistake with a low finish.
