Double boost in Villa's player ambitions
Striker Emmanuel Adebayor looks set to sign his season-long loan deal at Aston Villa today - as defender Ciaran Clark prepares to commit his future to the club.

Adebayor completed a medical at Villa last week and was expected to tie up any loose ends in the switch from Tottenham today.
Clark, one of Villa's best performers last season, is set to sign a four-year deal.
The 25-year-old, who was entering the last year of his current deal, had been the subject of an unwanted approach from Albion last week.
