Villa's fixture against Burton Albion at 3pm on Monday will be watched by more than 42,000 people after sales reached full capacity today.
The club confirmed the news this morning and thanked fans for their 'terrific support'.
With Burton lying nine points behind Villa and just one place above the relegation zone, Steve Bruce's side will be hoping they can claim three points and give the packed crowd the perfect Christmas present.
