Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert banned and fined for improper conduct
Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert was today handed a touchline ban and fined £8,000 after he accepted an improper conduct charge from the Football Association.

The charge related to Lambert's behaviour during Villa's 5-0 defeat at Manchester City last weekend and means he will be forced to watch Saturday's Premier League match against Arsenal from the stands.
An FA statement said: "Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has admitted a breach of FA Rule E3.
"It relates to language and/or behaviour amounting to improper conduct following his side's game at Manchester City on November 17.
"Lambert accepted the standard penalty for the charge and will now serve a one-match touchline ban to commence with immediate effect. He has also been fined £8,000."
