Albion fine Saido Berahino for being late to matches
West Bromwich Albion have fined striker Saido Berahino for reporting late for matches.
The Baggies forward is believed to have arrived late for games on several occasions and was fined after the latest incident before the Boxing Day defeat to Manchester City in the Premier League.
It is the latest in a series of off-field indiscretions for Berahino, who was involved in a row with team-mate James Morrison in the dressing room after last season's draw with Cardiff and appeared in a national newspaper after being caught inhaling 'legal high' nitrous oxide.
Berahino, who received his first call-up to the full England squad earlier this season, was in talks with Albion over an extension to his contract, which is due to expire in 2017.
But the club put negotiations on hold over concerns about his attitude.
