Jamie O'Hara told he no longer holds a squad number at Wolves
Jamie O'Hara's miserable week continued today as he was told he no longer has a squad number at Wolves.
The number 25 shirt O'Hara wore last season is now vacant.
It adds to a week of woe for the out-of-favour one-time £5m midfielder after his £2m house went up for sale amid reports his marriage to wife Danielle is on the rocks after allegations that he had an affair.
In truth it is no surprise to see O'Hara not having a squad number as he only played twice in the first team last season, and not since November.
The 27-year-old is one of eight players surplus to requirements at Molineux, and none of the others in 'group three' have been allocated numbers either.
Out-of-favour winger Anthony Forde, who wore 12, also has no squad number for the new season.
Youngsters will be issued numbers as and when they appear in the squad.
Elsewhere, there were no surprises today as Wolves released their squad list.
New signings Tommy Rowe and Rajiv Van La Parra took the vacant numbers 15 and 17 respectively.
Keeper Carl Ikeme, who used to wear number 13, has taken up Wayne Hennessey's old number one jersey for the new campaign, while left-back Scott Golbourne will be now donning George Elokobi's vacated number three.
Second-choice keeper Aaron McCarey is now wearing Ikeme's old number 13 shirt, while third-choice shotstopper Jon Flatt has picked up McCarey's 31.
Full list: 1. Carl Ikeme, 2. Matt Doherty, 3. Scott Golbourne, 4. Dave Edwards, 5. Richard Stearman, 6. Danny Batth, 7. James Henry, 8. David Davis, 9. Leon Clarke, 10. Bakary Sako, 11.
