Villa
Shay Given has been linked with a surprise move back to his former club Manchester City. Given, 38, has expressed a desire to continue playing and is rumoured to be linked with a return to the Etihad Stadium.
Albion
West Brom scouts have been monitoring the progress of Sheffield United defender Harry Maguire. The 22-year-old has been in impressive form and made the League One Team of the Year.
He has attracted interest from a host of other Premier League clubs including Arsenal and Chelsea but Blades boss Nigel Clough is hopeful of keeping Maguire at Bramall Lane.
Walsall
Scunthorpe and Bradford are interested in signing Andy Butler should he decide not to stay at Walsall. The 30-year-old has an option to extend his contract for one year but must do so by May 1st.
Nicky Featherstone has emerged as a target for York City. The Walsall midfielder is out of contract this summer and City will be keen to bolster their ranks should they win promotion via the play-offs.
Wolves
Jake Cassidy has return to Wolves from his loan spell at Tranmere Rovers.
