Kenny Jackett in no hurry to bolster his pack of Wolves
Wolves boss Kenny Jackett today insisted there was no rush to sign new players as he denied interest in Coventry hot-shot Callum Wilson.
With promotion secured nine days ago, focus has turned to next season and how the head coach is going to strengthen his squad.
But while he will add new faces, Jackett believes the key time to assess his squad is 10 games into next season when he can make any adjustments.
"If we can sign people early, we will, but it will be a constant process," said Jackett. "The summer is an opportunity but I also think there is a key time eight to 10 games in and then the Christmas period.
"You've had a small period to look at how you are at that level and that's a very important period."
Wilson, 22, has hit 22 goals in 38 games for the Sky Blues and was linked with a £3m move to Wolves across social media on Friday.
It's understood he was targeted in January before his strike partner Leon Clarke returned to Molineux from Coventry.
But Jackett said: "We've had no contact or bid at all. It's not something we're considering."
