Albion promoted to Premier League

West Bromwich Albion fans can look forward to Premier League football next season after their team was promoted from the Championship.

The Baggies had their place in the top flight confirmed after a 3-2 win at Doncaster Rovers this afternoon, through goals from Graham Dorrans, Chris Brunt and Roman Bednar.

Third-placed Nottingham Forest kept up the pressure with a 3-0 home win against Cardiff, but it was rendered meaningless as they are consigned to the play-offs.

Albion can now plan for next season with three games still left to play.
