Tens of young fans were out in force for the event at Molineux as they got to celebrate Christmas early in the company of their heroes.

They were treated to a day of fun-filled entertainment and they even got to meet their favourite first team stars – who took time out of their day to play host for the young Wolves fans.

The day included a disco and dancing competition, with the likes of first-term regulars Benik Afobe and Kevin McDonald in attendance looking after the children and signing autographs galore.

Other players in attendance on the night included Jack Price, Carl Ikeme, Ethan Ebanks-Landell, Dominic Iorfa, Nathan Byrne and captain Danny Batth.

Despite his season-ending injury which has dampened Wolves' hopes of achieving promotion to the Premier League, Nouha Dicko was also in attendance as the children quizzed him on his recovery.

Premier league loan players Emiliano Martinez, from Arsenal, and Sheyi Ojo, from Liverpool, were also spotted at the event as they got to meet some of the club's young fans.

The event was so popular that there was standing room only in the Sir Jack Hayward Suite at Molineux when it took place last week.

The annual Christmas Party began with Dippy's Christmas Show. Dippy, one half of Flip and Dippy based in the West Midlands, is a children's entertainer.

He is described as a 'crazy clown' who can 'juggle all sorts of things, walk on his globe, make balloon animals, ride a unicycle, spin plates, diabolo and his comedy magic will cause uproar!'.

The pair's website added: "Dippy also has a specialist disco purely for the older children and the small world puppet show for the younger children."

After being entertained by the show, Young Wolves members were then able to get all the autographs and photographs they wanted from the Wolves stars.

If that wasn't enough in the way of excitement, they were also given a Christmas gift courtesy of Young Wolves.

The night ended with a 'lively' disco and a dancing competition which was judged by Afobe and Byrne.

To top the night off, midfielder Conor Coady donned the now-familiar gold Santa Suit for the evening.

The Young Wolves membership scheme is for young Wolves supporters aged 4-11 and costs £20.00 for the season. Perks include an exclusive joining gift of a souvenir tin, hat and scarf, free ticket to 3 home matches and a chance to be the Wolves mascot at away matches.
