Dudley Hippodrome demolition plans backed by council chiefs
Plans to bulldoze Dudley Hippodrome were backed by Dudley Council's cabinet at a meeting last night.

The landmark venue could be torn down within weeks with bosses stating they want it removed 'at the earliest opportunity'.
The council wants to knock down the theatre to create an 'open space' near the entrance to Dudley Zoo on Castle Hill.
A final decision is expected next month following a consultation with the Friends of Dudley Hippodrome campaign group.
