They looked at pupils' work books and heard them reading aloud. They also held meetings with with governors, staff and pupils.

The school has also been highly praised for it's teaching standards and are constantly pushing the pupils to do their absolute best to progress as rapidly as possible. Mrs Faulkner added: "I have to thank all of the staff for their continuous hard work, this would not have happened if it had not have been for them, and our hard-working pupils of course.

"We have received so many positive comments from parents saying how over the moon they are that the school has done so well. We are planning to hold an evening of celebration for staff, governors and anyone who has helped with the school in over the years. We shall also be celebrating with the pupils before they break up for Christmas."
