Dick and Dom visit Bodenham Arboretum to film for the Gadget Show
Comedy duo Dick and Dom visited Wyre Forest to film scenes for an upcoming episode of the Gadget Show.
The CBBC stars spent Monday afternoon with a camera crew and Gadget Show presenter Jon Bentley filming scenes for the Channel 5 show at Bodenham Arboretum, near Wolverley.
Richard McCourt and Dominic Wood, better known as Dick and Dom, spent the afternoon filming in and around the Arboretum for an episode of the show – expected to be broadcast next month.
During their visit, Dick, Dom and Jon met Bodenham Arboretum's newest arrival, a baby donkey named Diego born at the end of November, as well as Border Collie Elvis.
James Binnian, owner and manager of Bodenham Arboretum, said: "We were delighted to be asked permission by The Gadget Show to film here.
"Everyone obviously had to maintain social distancing but Dick, Dom and Jon were charming guests and they brought much laughter to a dull winter's afternoon.
"We believe the footage will be featured on the Gadget Show on Friday, March 26, Channel 5 at 7pm and look forward to seeing a local landmark being part of a nationwide broadcast."
Bodenham Arboretum announced the visit on their Facebook page, adding: "We had some VIPs visit today – 'Dick and Dom were in da Arboretum!'
"We were delighted to accommodate the Gadget Show and presenter Jon Bentley, who had invited the intrepid CBBC stars to be guest presenters for an episode.
"Elvis of course took on the role of runner – literally – whilst ensuring that everyone adhered to social distancing."
The duo are best known for presenting the double BAFTA Award winning 'Dick and Dom in da Bungalow', a children's entertainment show that was live during weekend mornings on the BBC between 2002 and 2006.
