Hair stylist bags national award
A hair stylist from Wolverhampton has proved she is a cut above the rest after gaining national recognition.
Chantelle Garrison, 36, has been named Hair Stylist of the Year - West Midlands.
The salon she owns, Addictions Hair & Beauty in Stafford Street, Wolverhampton has also gained an award as a Marketing Trailblazer.
Chantelle said: "This is a nationally recognised salon award and i was up against a wide range of salons throughout the UK.
"I am proud to have won the title and this is a great boost of recognition for myself as an award-winning hair stylist and the salon.
"It is my first major award and now I am entered for more national awards for business and Owner of the Year titles and a Social Media Hair and Beauty Award.
"I was judged on my portfolio because of the lockdown restrictions and think my wealth of experience in working with all hair types help me to win.
"I have been working as a hair-dresser since I was 16-years-old and have trained up my staff using my skills and have also done work for fashion and music videos.
"Five years ago I also launched my own product range, Addictions Hair Cosmetics."
Chantelle is now looking forward to receiving the plaque and trophy she has won.
