Smoke billows from blaze near M5 at West Bromwich
A pile of lorry tyres has caught fire this afternoon, sending plumes of black smoke billowing into the sky near the M5.

Around 10 firefighters were tackling the blaze on wasteland in West Bromwich, which started just before 4.50pm.
A West Midlands Fire Service spokesman said the fire, near West Bromwich Street and Bromford Road, was 'producing a large plume of smoke'.
People on social media have reported seeing the smoke from the M5.
A fire service spokesman said: "We received the first call at 4.48pm.
"The fire is HGV tyres on wasteland and two crews from Oldbury are at the scene."
