Body found in search for missing Stourbridge man
A body believed to be that of missing Stourbridge man Jason Fowkes has been found in woodland.
The 42-year-old was reported missing on Thursday – and had not been seen or heard from since Tuesday afternoon.
Police discovered a body in woodland in Stourbridge.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "Officers searching for missing Jason Fowkes have been today [Friday] made aware of the discovery of a body in woodland in Stourbridge.
"We believe the body is that of Jason, 42, who was reported missing yesterday from home in the town.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file is being prepared for the coroner."
