Body found in Birmingham park after missing person search by police
The body of a woman has been found in a park in the West Midlands by police after a person went missing last week.
Police believe the body found in Sutton Park is a woman called Jessica, a 39-year-old from the Kingstanding area.
The woman went missing on September 29 and whilst formal identification has not yet taken place, it is believed to be her.
The death is not being treated as suspicious, a spokesman for West Midlands Police said.
They added: Jessica’s family are being supported by officers, and would like to thank those who shared our appeal and helped look for her."
