No new deaths recorded in hospitals or care homes across the region
No new Covid-19 deaths have been recorded in hospitals or care homes across the Black Country, Birmingham and Staffordshire.
NHS figures revealed there were no new deaths across the region. It means the death toll remains at 7,550 in the region's hospitals.
Meanwhile figures from the Office for National Statistics revealed there had been no care home deaths in the region over the past week. It means the total stands at 1,387.
The toll at the Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust, which runs Sandwell General and City hospitals,is 1,167.
The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust, which runs New Cross Hospital, has seen 799 deaths.
No new deaths were reported at either the Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust, or the Walsall Healthcare Trust, where the total of deaths remain at 732 and 719 respectively.
There were also no new recorded at either University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust, where the total stands at 1,373, or at the University Hospitals of Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, where the toll stands at 2,598.
A total of 23 deaths were recorded across the UK, bringing the total to 127,123.
