Mobile unit set up for symptom-free testing
A mobile unit offering tests to people without Covid-19 symptoms will arrive at a centre in Wolverhampton today.
The unit will be at the Rocket Pool Strengthening Families Hub, based on Rocket Pool Drive, today from 10am to 6pm.
It will remain at the Bradley site for the rest of the week – running from 8am to 6pm – as part of a move to increase testing.
Councillor Jasbir Jaspal, Wolverhampton Council’s cabinet member for public health and wellbeing, said the move would allow more people to get tested closer to home.
Latest figures over the seven days to March 16 show the city has a rate of 63.7 per 100,000 people in the city.
