Two lanes on the M6 southbound between junction 10a for the M54 and junction 10 for Walsall and Wolverhampton (Black Country) are shut currently.

The fire started around 11.50am.

Crews from Cannock fire station have worked to put out the blaze.

No one has injured, according to West Midlands Fire Service.

It comes following a day of chaos on the M6 yesterday when a lorry caught fire forcing the closure of lanes near Great Barr - later following by an incident where a man was hit by a lorry near Wednesbury.
