Man dies in Brierley Hill delivery firm accident
A man has died after an accident at a delivery firm depot in Brierley Hill.
The accident happened at Tuffnells Parcel Express on The Wallows Industrial Estate.
Paramedics fought to save the man but he died at the scene after suffering a cardiac arrest.
Emergency services were called to the premises, in Fens Pool Avenue, off Dudley Road, at around 9.50pm on Friday.
West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman John Hawker said: "Crews arrived to find a man in traumatic cardiac arrest.
"Advanced life support was carried out at the scene by medics, but unfortunately despite everyone's best efforts, nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed dead at the scene."
A spokeswoman from Tuffnells: "We are currently investigating the incident and cooperating fully with the relevant authorities.
"Meanwhile, our thoughts are with the family of the deceased."
The Health & Safety Executive confirmed it was liaising with police.
