Fire crews from Cannock, Rugeley and Longton attended the scene and removed the roof of her car.

A man who was in the car with the 21-year-old woman also complained of back pain but was discharged at the scene.

A second woman, whose Smart Car was involved in the crash, complained of hand pain because of the airbags going off but she was discharged at the scene.

The incident happened at around 11am this morning. Rugeley Road was closed while the incident was being dealt with but it has reopened now.
