Mother of knifeman who murdered Cody Fisher found guilty of trying to help her killer son flee justice
The mother of Cody Fisher's murderer has been found guilty of assisting an offender.
The jury took less than two hours to find Jahzeen Carpenter guilty of assisting an offender at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
The 39-year-old, from Dudley, was supported in the public gallery by her family and friends when the verdict was returned.

The mother, from Himley Court, Lower Gornal, had tried to spirit her son Kami Carpenter out of the country and onto a flight to Jamaica days after he stabbed promising footballer Cody Fisher to death at the Crane club in Birmingham on Boxing Day 2022.
