Cannabis smell leads to drug suspect's arrest
A drugs suspect was arrested after officers sniffed their way to the car in the Black Country.
Officers from Dudley Town Police were out on patrol on Netherton High Street at a hot spot identified by members of the community.
While on patrol, Special Constable Hopkins and Pc Mitchell approached car after catching a unique smell coming from it and conducted a stop and search.
They found a small amount of cannabis along with cash and phones and subsequently arrested the driver.
A tweet by Dudley Town Police praised the officers for their work.
