Man charged after police called to knife incident in Dudley street

A man has been charged with possessing an offensive weapon after police were called to reports of an incident involving a kitchen knife in a Dudley street.

Officers from Brierley Hill Police Station were called to an address in Bourne Street on Wednesday.

Today a police spokesperson said: "A man has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon after officers were called to Bourne Street, Dudley, on Wednesday.

"Andrew Turton, 41, of Tan House Lane, Colley Gate, was charged and bailed to appear before Dudley Magistrates Court on 4 March."
