Brick thrown at officer's head through car window
A brick was thrown at a police officer through the window of her car.
Two officers were sitting in a marked police car in Maytree Close, Chemsley Wood, at around 11.15pm yesterday doing some paperwork, while waiting for recovery as they had a flat tyre.
A brick was thrown through the rear window, which hit one of the officers on the head.
The officer − who doesn’t wish to be named − suffered a head injury which required medical treatment from ambulance workers.
Fortunately she is okay − although she is shaken and upset about what happened.
The suspect was riding a bike and was dressed in black clothing.
