Arrest after car driven at women on pavement in Halesowen
An arrest has been made after a car was driven at two women on a pavement in Halesowen.
The incident happened in Drews Holloway, Colley Gate, just before 8pm yesterday. The women were both uninjured.
Police said the car also crashed with two other vehicles in the area around the same time.
A 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted wounding and drink driving.
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Police said: "We have arrested a man after being called to reports of a car being driven towards two women as they walked on a pavement in Drews Holloway, Colley Gate, Halesowen, yesterday evening.
"Thankfully neither woman was injured in the incident at just before 8pm.
"We understand the car also collided with two other vehicles in the area at around the same time. One woman driver was taken to hospital but her injuries are not believed to be serious.
"A 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted wounding and drink-driving. He remains in police custody as enquiries continue.
