Two charged after weapons brandished in incident
Two men have been charged after a serious disorder which saw several weapons brandished.
West Midlands Police were called to reports of trouble in Washwood Heath Road, Birmingham, in which a firearm and large combat knife were reported to have been seen.
Armed police later arrested three men after the serious disorder incident, which took place around 11am on Tuesday.
David Constantin, aged 19, has been charged with possessing an imitation firearm in a public place with intent to cause fear of violence.
Additionally, 27-year-old Bocioug Scarlat has been charged with threatening a person with a bladed article in a public place and a third man, aged 28, has been released under investigation while enquiries progress.
Both Constantin and Scarlat, who are from Washwood Heath Road, have been remanded in custody and are set to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court on Thursday.
