Stourbridge murders: Mother and son killed and father left fighting for his life in knife attack - PICTURES and VIDEO
A mother and her 13-year-old son have been killed and a father left fighting for his life after a knife attack at their home in Stourbridge.
Police have arrested a man on suspicion of murder and wounding following the triple stabbing in Greyhound Lane, Norton, at 8am today.
The mother and father, named locally as Tracey and Peter Wilkinson, and their son suffered serious stab wounds.
She was found with her son in the house while the father was found in the garden.
There was nothing that could be done to save the woman, understood to be in her 50s, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

The woman's 13-year-old son suffered critical stab injuries and was later pronounced dead in hospital, say police.
Her husband remains in hospital with stab wounds to his chest and back.
A Land Rover stolen from outside the home was intercepted around 30 minutes later 700 metres away in Norton Road and a man in his 20s was arrested.
He is in police custody and will later be questioned on suspicion of murder and wounding.
Police say they believe the suspect was known to the family and may have been living at the address - although he is not a relative.
No-one else is being sought over the stabbings at this stage, say police.
The couple have a daughter who was not at the address at the time.
Dudley Police Superintendent Lee Kendrick said: "What has unfolded here this morning is horrific and heart-breaking.
"Police and ambulance were confronted with an awful scene: a man, woman and boy all with very serious stab injuries
"The woman and boy were found in the house and the man in the garden.
"Tragically there was nothing that could be done to save the woman – and her son later died in hospital from his injuries.
"Our hearts go out to the victims' family and friends at this devastating news.
"Clearly our investigation is at a very early stage but we understand the suspect was known to the family and may have been living at the address – although he is not a family relative.
"We don't think this was a burglary or a robbery.
"Our investigation is progressing at pace and we are working to understand exactly what the relationship was between the man and the family. At this stage we are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident."
Anyone with information is urged to call West Midlands Police on 101.
Air ambulances from Cosford and Tatton Hill both flew to the scene, while West Midlands Ambulance Service sent two land ambulances and a rapid response vehicle.
Ambulance service spokesman Jamie Arrowsmith said: "Ambulance staff arrived on scene to find three seriously injured patients; a woman, a man and a boy.
"Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of ambulance staff it became apparent at the scene that nothing could be done to save the woman and she was confirmed deceased."
He said the teenage boy was found to be in cardiac arrest and received specialist treatment at the scene.
He was taken to Birmingham Children's Hospital but shortly after arrival in A&E he was also confirmed dead.
The man, who was conscious, was also in a serious condition. He was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, in Birmingham.
