Officers moved in on Short Street with weapons in hand yesterday morning.

A man was arrested at the scene at around 9.25am yesterday, around three hours after police were called.

More than 10 armed officers were stationed on Short Street and at the front and back of the house, while marked police cars blocked off the road.

A neighbour filmed this footage from a nearby bedroom window.

Today, West Midlands Police said unemployed Michael Hill, 48, of Short Street, was appearing before Dudley Magistrates Court today charged with possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

The force said an 'ornamental-type replica musket' had been recovered.
