Officers are seeking four people following the incidents which took place in May, one in Wolverhampton and the other in West Bromwich.

Jewellery worth tens of thousands of pounds was burgled from the Wolverhampton home, along with a substantial amount of cash.

Two men entered the back garden of the property in Wolverhampton Road and forced open a rear patio door to gain entry on May 23. The burglars searched the entire house, including the loft, before making off with jewellery and cash at around 9.03am.

It was following enquiries at neighbouring properties that investigating officers found the images of the suspects, who appear to both have beards.

Officers are now seeking information about their identity.

In the West Bromwich break-in, the intruders left empty-handed after being interrupted by the homeowner's mother, who was in the house at the time. The pair had also entered through the back of the property, using a stone ornament to smash a patio door at the home on Thynne Street on May 13.

Once inside the house, they rifled through the living room and a bedroom. Police have released CCTV footage of a man and a woman suspected of the break in.

It shows them walking along a road. The man is wearing a baseball cap and black coat while the woman is wearing a pink top and black cardigan.

Anyone who has information on either of the break-ins should call police on 101.
