Carl Tindall death: Manslaughter accused appears in court

A man accused of killing another man found with serious head injuries in Stafford appeared in court.

Jamie Sleigh, 35, of St Johns Road, is charged with the manslaughter of Carl Tindall.

Mr Tindall died two days after he was found in Cull Avenue on August 22 of last year.

Sleigh appeared at Stafford Crown Court for a plea and case management hearing yesterday.

Sleigh will return to the court on April 29.

He was remanded in custody. Three people also appeared at Stafford Crown Court in connection with the death yesterday.

Louise Hurmson, aged 32, of Avenue Road, Cannock, Sarah Hurmson, 35, of Greig Court, Cannock, and Anthony Boddison, aged 25, of St Peter's Gardens, Stafford, are all charged with assisting an offender.

They pleaded not guilty and will appear for trial on June 20.
