Dudley man hands himself in over death of Gary Wroblewski

A 22-year-old man has appeared in court on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

Jordan Edwards, of Terry Street, Dudley, was arrested on Monday in connection with the death of Gary Wroblewski after handing himself in to police.

He was charged with causing death by dangerous driving in connection with the death of the 53-year-old in Netherton on November 6.

Mr Wroblewski was found by paramedics lying in the road in a critical condition near a car which crashed into a billboard at the junction of Cradley Road and Marriott Road. Despite efforts to save him he died at the scene.

Unemployed Edwards appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court on Tuesday and was remanded in custody to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court on March 22.
