New Walsall restaurant cooks up six jobs
New jobs are set to come to the region following the opening of a new Asian fusion restaurant in Walsall.
Chop and Wok has opened a new branch of the popular takeaway and restaurant chain.
The new restaurant, on Bridge Street, is the ninth in the region to open, with six new jobs being created.
Chop And Wok Walsall’s owner Haydor Ali said: “I really wanted to contribute to the regeneration of the Bridge Street area in Walsall and knew straight away that Chop And Wok would be the perfect contribution.”
“The brand, products and food quality is extremely high and I look forward to being extremely proactive in helping the local community anyway we can.”
It is also the first Chop And Wok branch to be Halal Monitoring Committee (HMC) certified.
The Halal Monitoring Committee (HMC) was established to help ensure that all Muslims could be confident that the meat and products they consume are ‘genuinely Halal’.
The HMC organisation is an independent, not for profit, registered charity which monitors, inspects and certifies Halal products for the benefit of the Muslim community.
