Shopping centre road closed for revamp work
Motorists are being warned that a road which runs by intu Merry Hill will be closed for two weeks.
The Embankment will close for a fortnight from today.
The road, which leads from the green multi-storey car park to the roundabout by Marks & Spencer, will be temporarily closed to allow works to be carried out on the final stages of Merry Hill's transformation project.
The multi-million pound investment will see the exterior of the site completely transformed, with the project expected to be complete in early Summer.
Merry Hill is continuing preparations to welcome back shoppers next month ahead of national lockdown restrictions being lifted.
The shopping centre remains currently open for essential retail, selected collection and takeaway services only at this time. Non-essential retail stores are due to reopen on Monday, April 12.
